A beautiful sunny 80 degree Monday morning to you from Columbus!…Today is the same weather that we experienced on Saturday…when the ‘Shoe’ played home to the LARGEST Spring Game crowd in the history…not the history of just the ‘Shoe…but the history of college football a Spring Game Record Crowd- 95,727!!!… Hell you couldn’t find a seat!

Okay…I’ll admit Stu and I only saw about a quarter and a half…which is more than (Betsy, Elizabeth, Laurie)…you can see the pictures on the website.

Pryor looked solid (2 TD’s)…and I really like Posey as a wide receiver…the Offensive Line, with transfer Justin Boren will be solid next fall, much more aggressive…but the defensive front seven shined…keep an eye on Brian Rolle (11 tackles) and Etienne Sabino (9 tackles)…both special teams demons last year from Florida with a lot of speed…as well as Tyler Moeller (8 tackles)…these guys will be in the mix at linebacker next year.

You know people keep saying “how did they look”….I mean are you kidding me? I know some will be all hyped and take what they have seen seriously…but don’t, trust me. Yes we will be fine…lets just use the day for a fun tailgate, some friends, a great day for the kids…and lets see about next fall! Don’t get me wrong…you know i think we will be solid again and ready for another run…

It was great to see seven Buckeyes drafted this weekend…ONLY USC with 11 had more…so have a great summer, enjoy and only 131 days until the season opener!

Yes the SPRING GAME BUZZ!

The Scarlet & Gray game is tomorrow…and with temps projected in the low 80’s and not a cloud in the sky…don’t be shocked if the Buckeyes draw 80,000 plus… Don’t forget the NFL Draft is tomorrow as well.

The annual game, which brings to a close spring practice and as we know the Buckeyes have a lot of positions to fill. Also if you are heading to the game…I know many INTERS are…Butch & Paul’s will be combining their tailgate with the Jones Family…so stop on by it should be a great time!

Let’s talk some football..of course the biggest question will be HOW FAR has Terrelle Pryor progressed as a QB, and what type of offense will the Buckeyes run. Tress has said that QB’s can be tackled tomorrow so it should be fun. Let me say a couple things about the offense…with the transfer of Justin Boren all rumors continue that OSU’s offensive line will be more aggressive…AWESOME. Also, while Hartline was an okay receiver, I think he actually held up some of the more promising young guys like Posey, etc

Defensively…the D line i beleive will be one of the best in the country…with everyone back. Yes i know the DB’s lack some experience BUT that can be made up with a great pass rush…again there are players who can step up…look for OSU to have a ton of speed outside rushers on defense this year…

Bottom line I like the Scarlet…no wait a minute I like the Gray…oh wait a minute let the kids go to the game…the Doc (Rosen) and i will sit outside the ‘Shoe’ and have a cocktail…won’t you come join us!
